The CATERPILLAR DE65 GC is engineered as a reliable power source for professional applications. The generator set can provide standby power for construction and industrial equipment, pumping systems, lighting, utilities, administrative facilities and various technological systems.

The Cat C3.3 diesel engine combines stable performance under load with optimized fuel consumption. In the 50 Hz configuration, the engine operates at 1,500 rpm. Fuel consumption is approximately 15.3 L/h at 100% standby load, 11.3 L/h at 75% load and 7.8 L/h at 50% load.

The alternator is designed to provide strong motor-starting capability, which helps accommodate electrical equipment with significant starting currents. Caterpillar states that the generator set complies with ISO 8528-5 steady-state and transient response requirements and is capable of accepting a 100% block load in a single step.
