CATERPILLAR DE220 GC
The CATERPILLAR DE220 GC is an effective solution for medium-capacity autonomous and standby power applications. It can supply electrical power to construction and industrial equipment, pumping systems, lighting, utilities, administrative facilities and various technological systems.
The turbocharged Cat C7.1 diesel engine provides stable generator performance under varying loads. With up to 220 kVA / 176 kW of standby power, the generator set can support a broad range of professional equipment. The generator set is designed to meet ISO 8528-5 transient response requirements.
The 325-litre fuel tank supports extended autonomous operation. Fuel consumption varies according to actual electrical demand, with published standby figures of approximately 25.6 L/h at 50% load, 37.8 L/h at 75% load and 49.2 L/h at 100% load.
The GCCP 1.1 control system provides monitoring of the generator set’s key operating parameters and maintains an event history. Caterpillar states that the control system can log up to 250 events, supporting operational monitoring and diagnostics. Standard equipment also includes the Cat GC enclosure, A Frame alternator, integrated fuel storage and enclosure silencer.
