CATERPILLAR DE450 GC

The CATERPILLAR DE450 GC is designed to provide high-capacity standby power for demanding applications. It can be used at manufacturing facilities, industrial and construction sites, logistics complexes, pumping stations and other facilities where a power interruption could disrupt critical technological processes.

The turbocharged and air-to-air aftercooled Cat C13 diesel engine provides stable performance under substantial electrical loads. With a standby output of 450 kVA / 360 kW, the generator can support a significant range of industrial, construction and engineering equipment.

The integrated 686-litre fuel tank supports extended autonomous operation. Published fuel consumption is approximately 47.3 L/h at 50% load, 69.0 L/h at 75% load and 92.6 L/h at 100% standby load, allowing operating time and fuel requirements to be planned according to the actual electrical demand.

The GCCP 1.1 control system provides monitoring and control of the generator set’s main operating parameters. The standard configuration also includes a 24 V battery system, circuit breaker, cooling system and integrated fuel tank. Optional equipment includes a protective enclosure, AVR, battery charger, emergency stop, fuel-level alarms and other equipment.
